dear nobody,
i decided to start blogging as a more convenient form of diary-keeping... i always buy pretty hardcover journals only to fill them 3 pages in-- only just to forget them for 8 months, finding it in a dusty corner flipping the pages open and going "oh yeah... i was supposed to write everyday."
will going virtual fix this? not sure. couldn't tell you. not like my life is super eventful to keep track of but i want to commit to something for once in my life.
at this moment, it is 8:45pm as i listen to japanese breakfast coughing away. i'm in lisa's old room at my makeshift desk. i'm on my period. i'm sick with bronchitis. i've missed 4 days of work. i'm thinking about doing that indian hair oiling thing.
i feel ugly.
i've been promoted to a new role at my job. a more senior role in sales. i'm nervous. i'm anxious. listening to japanese breakfast is kind of inspiring because her book, which i haven't finished yet - "crying in hmart" made me think of my writing capabilities.
i know i'm not a bad writer. if anything, it's one of the only things i've ever been good at. of course it's also the one thing i never pursued or really felt the need to pursue, work on, develop the skill, etc... maybe i do have interesting stories to tell. maybe i could come up with things to write.
i guess i'll just find out.
signing out with the song of the night,
japanese breakfast - be sweet
